In this training we learn how to effectively use the important communication skills that we need every day in our job. In this practical communication course you will learn the most important skills and tips about effective communication, how to effectively convey your message, use the right communication style and build sustainable contact with others.

- How to convince others
- The power of nonverbal communication
- Application of some assertiveness techniques
- Dealing with different types of people and different communication styles
- Concrete and specific communication: say what you mean
- Active and focused listening
- The importance of empathy
- Emotionally intelligent communication
- Dealing with difficult people and resistance
- Giving and receiving feedback
- Basic elements of negotiation techniques
Target group
This course is designed for anyone who wants to strengthen or expand the basic skills in communication.
Approach
Practice prevails in this hands-on training. We will work with your own learning needs and with real-life cases, supported by video feedback.
In this training we simulate situations in which communication misunderstandings can occur (interviews, meetings, presentations, information transfers, ...). You will learn how to clearly structure your message and communicate openly in these situations. What you have learned, will be put into practice immediately in various practical exercises so you really get a chance to grow.
