About this training
Being assertive is an important and valuable skill to be stronger in your communication. In this interactive assertiveness training course, you will be given techniques and tools to communicate more assertively - even in difficult situations - while making your point in a clear and respectful way.

Program
DAY 1
- Learning to listen actively and to recognize body language
- What is avoidance behaviour, aggressive behaviour and manipulative behaviour?
- Are you a NIP or a PIP?
- Assertive communication using the DESC-model
DAY 2
- Exercises on the raising of issues and on active listening
- Learning of new techniques (the sandwich, LEO and diving board techniques)
- Role playing game on new techniques and feedback
- Feedback and correction with concrete tips
Target group
The course "Assertive and Self-assured Communication" has proven effective for anyone looking for a more conscious, self-assured and efficient way for conveying his or her message. This course is also strongly recommended for anyone wishing to communicate with clients, external partners, colleagues or teams in a convincing and respectful way.
Approach
This workshop is interactive and provides exercise sessions, reflection moments and input from the participants. In order to practice the provided techniques and learning points, we complete the training with case simulations with a professional training actor.
